The Harambee starlets will play a friendly
match against Egypt women’s football team on Saturday 28th, at the
Safaricom stadium, Kasarani.
Headed by a CAF coaching instructor, Ouma,
and assisted by Doreen Nabwire, the football fraternity in Kenya and the
fanatics in general are looking forward to a good performance, if not an excellent
one from our ladies.
With a more experienced technical bench –
Ouma being one of the key pillars in the technical bench of the KPL side,
Sofapaka, the starlets are geared and are more than expected to shine.
A 29 member provisional squad has been
picked to represent Kenya in the match, and to fulfill the spirit of
patriotism, which also is inclusion of a good performance.
This friendly match will assist the Kenyan
ladies in preparation for the 2016 Rio Olympic Qualifier match against Botswana
in April this year.
The Egyptians are expected in the country
on Friday morning while the match will commence on Saturday at 3.PM.
