From East
to West the night was very dark,
And in the
dark stood a motionless mark,
The neighbor’s
dog hesitated not to bark,
For in the
dark stood a foreign mark
Oh no he
is an inexperienced night runner,
The
youngest son of village the charcoal burner,
For he
know not the how and the manner,
Don’t ask
me why for I can't even mummer.
In the
dark stood a man fully naked,
A perfect
indication of how they are waked,
Despite
this to some they are more than loved,
But not to
me for I abhors this act.
To and fro
they run and run,
Stealthily
and quietly for they believe in yes we can,
With no
celebrations of a race greatly won,
And this
is why they are troublesome men.
That man
in the dark is a member of the society,
The movement
of the dogs does not affect his anxiety,
For they
claim knowledge of the topography is a necessity,
And that
man in the dark is confirming the reality.
That man
in the dark is not yet a father,
Neither
does he know the love of a mother,
For twenty
years they haven't seen one another,
But that
man in the dark is more than a bother.
