WABWIRE IS A SCHOLAR!

He is a flourishing educationist,
always claiming to be a journalist,
while he is a development communication specialist,
a typical poverty reduction strategist.

Wabwire is his name,
struggling to get to the list of fame,
and not on the list of shame,
as some ideots always claim.

He is a man of great stature,
an original of God's creature,
sometimes bragging to be a preacher,
but a poor footballer unlike Daren Fletcher.

He is finally a respected scholar,
as flamboyant as a seasonal flora,
with ideas that can never be a magazine filler,
salute him for supporting the education pillar.

GO YEA, SERVE THE PUBLIC

The members of The Kisii University Students Union (KSUSU) who were triumphant in the past election are set to be sworn in today.

The swearing in will usher the young flamboyant politicians into a new world - The world of serving the general students body.

While speaking to the University's Deputy Vice Chancellor (ASA), Prof. Maurice Amutabi, he reiterated that the delay in swearing in was as a result of the pending petition cases that were still being heard and judgement given.

About six cases of election malpractices were being investigated by the election tribunal, one of which was successfully nullified.

The nullified electoral seat was the Nairobi campus gubernatorial seat.

QUOTE OF THE DAY

Most of the heart breaks results when someone is seeking approval not love. The destruction though is greater than during the separation/divorce stage!

RE ENERGIZED FUTURE JOURNALISTS

The young journalists of Kisii university press (KUP) are doing a great work after they successfully and single handedly produced their monthly magazine "The Campus Blaze" volume four without the help of the University's administration. Kudos to these guys.

to anyone who wanna help these young, talented, upcoming journalists, write to them via email, kisiiuniversitypress@gmail.com. they are actually inspiring the youths.

GOR MAHIA BACK TO DUTY AFTER A GOOD PERFORMANCE IN DAR

After a painful loss to Azam in the CECAFA Kagame Cup in Daresalam, Kenyan Premier League Defending Champions, Gor Mahia are looking forward to extend their unbeaten run in the Premier League and finally clinch the title for the third time in a row.

The KPL champions are looking a head to a good run to help them heal from the disappointment they encountered in the final, losing to the regional money bags, Azam by two goals to nil.
Kogalo who were supposed to have their 1st match on Wednesday after coming from the regional tournament, have been relieved of the match. Due to fatigue and fitness concerns, they will now resume duty to defend the KPL tittle on Sunday.

here is how the table stands with the Green Army having three games at hand.
